Singer/songwriter, RIA CURLEY, began her musical career as the teenage bandleader of 6 musical siblings performing her original songs and delighting fans in Central New York.

Ria's creative experiences since then have included... having 22 of her songs (music and lyrics) published by WARNER-CHAPPELL MUSIC PUBLISHING, INT'L; receiving NYC airplay on CD101.9 & WBLS with her smooth jazzy r&b CD, "RIA" "Take Me” (currently selling internationally on iTunes, Amazon.com, CDBaby.com, etc.); being interviewed as a guest artist on WBLS radio's "QUIET STORM" with Vaughn Harper; singing background for Patti Austin; acting and singing in soap operas, TV commercials and jingles; earning a credit as Associate Executive Producer on a Grammy-nominated Frank Sinatra CD compilation; and teaching the legendary actor, JIMMY STEWART, the kickline routine for the "Night of 100 Stars" finale at RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL.

After graduating from Colgate University, Ria moved to NYC, where she performed her original songs and created a large following for over a decade. During that time, Ria received airplay on major NYC radio stations and was a featured artist for the CD 101.9 radio station concert at the Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey.

After NYC, where Ria still often performs (and adding a law degree from Georgetown to the mix, so that she "could help make the world a better place"), Ria relocated to Saratoga Springs in Upstate NY, where she regularly performs her original r&b/pop songs and favorite jazz standards. Often, Ria's band features her uber-talented music and life partner (husband), jazz/fusion pianist/composer, CHUCK LAMB (Brubeck Brothers Quartet, Dry Jack, artist-in-residence, Caffe Lena, Saratoga), with whom she regularly performs as the CURLEY LAMB NU-SOUL-JAZ band.  Currently, Ria and Chuck are working on a new album of original tunes, to be released later this year.
